Nokia launches Lumia 925 with Aluminum body and PureView Camera

Nokia recently launched its new Windows Phone 8 flagship device — the Nokia Lumia 925. It features a 4.5-inch AMOLED screen coated in Gorilla Glass 2, a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 1GB of RAM, and an 8.7-megapixel OIS camera with Nokia’s PureView technology.






















The new Lumia 925 is Nokia’s first Windows phone without a full polycarbonate body but instead, it’s packed into an aluminum frame. However, this handset is not all aluminum; only the router fram is made of aluminum while its rear is covered with polycarbonate.
The Nokia Lumia 925 will first be available in Europe and then in the U.S., China and other markets. It will be priced around 469 EUR (~Php25,000) before taxes and subsidies. Since this phone offers LTE support, local telcos (Globe & Smart) are expected to offer it under their postpaid plans.
